* TIP: As for my tip of the day. Slow and Steady wins the race!
Don't get overly anxious when you don't see mega wight loss. A "Healthy" weight loss is actually 1-2 lbs a week. A study shows that any more than that increases your risk of gaining it back and then some!

I also walked/jogged (my husband's going to kill me because I'm still recovering and should NOT be running) for 30 minutes, and then lifted 5 lb dumbells doing multiple exercises for another 30 minutes! I'll add it to my ticker!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Sarah, thanks for the encouraging words and congratulations. I´m with you on staying in shape for the long haul. I didn´t get to be this LARGE size in a month or two, so, why should I expect to loose it all in a month or two? :) Anyway, good job and now to keep eating healthy and exercising to stay fit.
Love,
Joy

Wooo hooo!! I can´t believe you are exercising. oh please don´t burst anything. ;) but you know your body. take it nice and easy. I am so like you like this.

I flew out of a car in Parguay and broke my collar bone. I was suppose to be like imobile for 4 wks. After 2 I was out playing one handed tennis!

Thanks for sharing the measurments and this tip. It is so important for everyone to remember. It´s key!

YOu are such a blessing!!!
I just want to break out in song with you!! ;)

Hey Sarah, If you are countin these points.. which I am so glad you are. it´s motivating, you can count this measurement post as 2 points. I put that your testimony was your kick off post but this one actually is. jeje. then plus 2 more for the awesome tip...

total 4 points for this post alone.

Sarah, as one nurse to another, please be careful. You don't want an evisceration - I know you know what I am talking about. Great job on the weight loss. I am thinking I am going to be the slow turtle on this life race. I took about 4 years to put on this fat that I now want to be rid of in 4 weeks!

Thank you all for you kind words.

And thank Dani on the point help. I was only counting it for 2 points 1 for measurements and 1 for the tip. I will add the others tomorrow.

The hard part is I feel like I can do what I was doing before. It's usually when I'm done that I feel "pressure" or I begin cramping. That's when I know I've over-done it.
