Crunch In - Jill

This crunch in covers both Sunday and Monday as I had no time to post yesterday. Yesterday was a rest day. I thought about exercising a little anyway, but I never got around to it. I've discovered that, if you don't make specific plans to do something, chances are you won't do it. I should have determined I would exercise Sunday and then I would have made time to do it.
I also discovered something else. As you get more used to exercising (I've been doing it regularly for three weeks now) you get used to the physical and psychological benefits. That is, after the extreme soreness wears off. : ) Anyway, I felt a little "off" by Sunday night. I couldn't pinpoint anything wrong, but I just didn't feel good. My workout partner suggested that, even though it was a rest day, a short walk or a few minutes on the glider probably would have greatly helped me. I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad to be dependent on exercise. : )
Monday was a good day. I actually did eighty minutes of cardio, and was still functioning when I was done! Plus, hubby and I went out to dinner. I ate half of my salad and half of my entree and tucked the rest into a to-go box. I also ordered my food without sauces or butters or anything. I don't have to worry about the leftovers. With five boys, none of our to-go boxes ever make it as far as the refrigerator.
I'm actually looking forward to Wednesday, when I'll be weighing and measuring to see what's happened in the last week. Hoping for good results!
