Crunch In - Jill

It's been over a week since I posted, but I've still been keeping up with exercise on most days. I could use some prayer, though. My mother passed away very unexpectedly this past Friday. Due to a rift, I haven't heard from my family in a long time. I found out about my mother's death through a friend of a friend. Then I discovered that my family hadn't told me on purpose and that I wasn't welcome at the funeral. If you think about it this week, I could use some prayer.

Dear Jill,

I want you to know that I will be praying for you and your family. This has got to be a really hard time for you. I know God's grace will be sufficient, as it always is.

Praying for you right now Jill. Families are tough.

In a study book I was teaching from this last weekend the author says about families "The best things have the power to hurt us the most."

Vent your anger and pain to God, He's big enough to take it and our Father wants us to be honest with Him always. I also will be praying that the manner you deal with this towards your family will witness to them and that someway, somehow, this will knock out a brick or two of the wall that's dividing you.

Love and a big hug Kathy

Oh Jill, I am so sorry for your loss and can only imagine what you are going through with the family situation. Rest in the knowledge the God knows everything and may He fill your heart with His grace and His peace at this time.
Love,
Joy

Mrs. Jill, My heart really goes out to you, and my prayers. I prayed as soon as I read this and we all prayed for you and your family tonight at church.

Big hugs,
Dani Joy
