Crunch In -Karen

So, this morning I am still not down ---so, does period weight stay on for a few days?  I can't say I have ever weighed consistently during the week of my cycle to know...
I didn't have time to do my ex. routine this morning, so I did some exercising this afternoon while I watched a show...I used my circle to tone my thighs and my arms and I did 10 of Dani's crunch video and 5 of those push up things...don't remember what you called them Dani...man, they are hard--even doing it with girlie push-ups!
My hubby is out of the country right now...and I tend to comfort eat while he is gone...any advice??  I miss him and so I justify food.  It's wrong, so anything work for any of you ladies who might do this too?

I work on the computer..jeje I stay up late and stay busy. Drinking water, or tea and sugar free chocolate when my hubby is gone. I munch on almonds and raisins. but those too have calories so I am not dropping weight lately either. even with all the water intake. LOL
I don´t think it´s wise to weigh in when you have your TOM. It´s a lot of water weight.
try to cut back more on your carb intake. I think that´s been my prob lately.

Hope this helps. I totally empathize about your hubby being away. I hate it when mine goes away. Mine will be away next weekend.

oh I love cheese. I tend to eat that with my tea with a Wasa Cracker. I don´t know if you can get these things or not. I am sure you can get cheese. Cheese makes a good low carb snack.

for what it´s worth.

Hi Karen,
Glad you are up and feeling better. I too miss my honey when he is gone. But, instead of eating when he left for the US in Sept. (and I´m the first to nibble in the kitchen when he is gone:) ), I asked the Lord for a plan. I decided to loose weight to surprise him when he came back. It was great because I only had my meal to worry about and I lost 2 kilos. And it was my secret... Just seeing how happy he was when he saw me was so worthhile! Anyway, there´s an idea. love, Joy

Hi Karen, I can sympathize with your husband being gone. Maybe when you get the munchies you can concentrate on making it a good snack. Last night my husband suggested eating an apple before I started my regular main course of supper, and I do believe it helped me eat less. A piece of fruit is low in calories, but can be very satisfying. I also like to eat a sliced tomato or cucumber with just a sprinkling of salt.
