Its a new week, and I'm encouraged with the way I feel and look. I just bought a pair of size 12 jeans, and they fit! That's down from a tight sized 14...so I'm happy. The scale has actually moved up, which I knew it would after having granddaughter all week-end, and being away from the house. Still, this is a process of changing eating habits and maintaining a workout program that isn't so strenuous that I feel like I've failed if I miss a day, or eat ice cream once in two weeks. Today, I'll be back on track, and its just a good feeling to know that I am in control of my destiny...well, God's in control of that, but I can control my hand-to-mouth disease, and I can continue to take those tempting thoughts of fattening foods captive...this is a spiritual battle as well as a physical one for me...I think for all of us, most likely.
So this is just a check in post. I have so much on my plate (not the dinner plate) that I will be busy for a few days, but I'll try to read what you all have to say...its really great that I can come here and read your posts and root for you, as well as know that you're rooting for me too.
