I really have no idea how to name "gulas" in Spanish. Those of you who don´t live in Spain might also think that it looks really gross. But no, they are not gross and they are not worms either. It´s just fish cut up in a worm shape, to imitate the real worm called "angulas", which it´s extremaly expensive. I have never had the real "angulas", and I don´t think I ever will either. Anyway, this is how to cook them. It will only take you 5 min.
1. Brown garlic slices and parshley in olive oil.
2. Add the gulas and stir 2 or 3 min, until is warm.
3. I also had a boil egg with a little bit of tuna fish and mayo mixed with the egg yolk.
That´s all, Ready to eat.
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOUR FACES WHEN YOU SEE THESE PICTURES. :-)
I HOPE YOU ARE ALL
HAVING A GREAT
AND BLESSED DAY!!!!

Ok, so if I post pics of yucky looking Russian food, will I get points? Sorry, but it doesn't look like something I want to try. Hee hee. Great crunchin anyway!

But Tami, IT´S REAAAAALLY GOOD. :-)
I even have to make more when I cook this for me because my children always want a serving of it, so I make a double portion to share with all of them.

OK, if you made it for me I would try it. I do like fish, if it isn't too fishy, and I like garlic too.

Thank you for the explanation before the pictures. I never knew the difference between the two. I still prefer fish fillet. :) How did you get into eating them? Are they really popular in PV?
