Monday 16th

Ok, I don't have much to say tonight, I'm just writting here to get 1 point, hahahahaha.
But at least I will leave a verse for you, to remember each other in prayer.
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." Colossians 4.2

I did eat pretty well today, and I got my 1 hour of exercie.

Oh yes, I do have a question for anybody who is a nurse or a doctor here. I have no idea if it's a coincidence or not but I will ask. I have a lot of stomach issues, and one of them is diarrhea. (sorry for this). Doctors have been telling me that I have an irritable colon, or gastroesofagic reflux, etc. Anyway, they never got rid of my problem. But since I started quitting sugar and white flour I haven't had it. But yesterday night I ate pizza and also had a couple of chocolates, and BINGO, I had diarrhea today. Do you think I might be intolerant to sugar or white flour?? I've been reading about celiac desiase and I have a few of the symptoms but not all of them.
Let me know what you think.

Hey Ketty,
You may not be a "celiac" 100% but you could have wheat sensitivity. I think you can have a test done and they can tell you if you are one or if you are borderline. Might be worth doing if it would give you some answers :)
You could also go on a gluten free diet for say a week and see if you notice big changes...but beware, "gluten-free" products are pricey.
Love, Joy (P.S. I´m not a nurse or a dr.:)

Sounds like cutting out sugar and white flour has helped you a lot!
Bingo! ;) I think just for feeling good it´s worth it.

But I am with Joy, you prob. should get some tests done on that one. of course bowel problems are not fun to live with.

Keep cutting it out and Crunchin it

Ketty, You can try cutting out one but not the other, and seeing how your body responds to see if the problem is with wheat or sugar. You may have to experiment to see what you are able to tolerate. I have some problems with specific foods myself, and I have had to realize that I must avoid those things if I want to stay healthy. I have a very hard time with dried beans, and especially cabbage. The Russians love cabbage, so I have to be really careful when eating out or at someone's home. I hope these ideas help. You may want to consider sharing your findings with a doctor, and see if he feels further testing is warranted. You can also try doing a good diary. That would involve writing down everything that you eat or drink for a certain period of time (usually a week minimum) and also writing down how you feel. Write down if you have any or your usual symptoms or other things (like headaches). If you feel really great one day, write that down. Your exercise level and length would also be a helpful thing to record. I hope this helps some. (I am a nurse, but not a doctor.)
