Vacation and Dieting CAN go together...I HOPE!!!

Hey there cruncher's!

Sounds like many had a great Lord's day in your neck of the woods. We did too. I had one of my S.S. girls win her own Bible (said the books of the Bible in order.) Praise! Hoping to do a Bible study w/ her and see where's she's at in her spiritual walk...not sure if she is really saved or not or just relying on her good works as she (as well as over 90% of the people here) is Catholic.

Anyway! Tomorrow I leave w/ my co-workers for a short vacation to Iguazu Falls - on the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. It is actually offered by Christian Hospitality Network and they are footing the hotel bill and main meals. So! Couldn't pass it up.

Now I knew this was coming up when I signed up for the CCC, but felt like God can still help me even on vacation to eat right and exercise...even on vacation. I know I'll be doing a lot of walking for which I am thankful. Lord willing, I can still be "crunchin' it" on this venture.

Any vacation tips from you all who have been at this longer than I? Am totally open for suggestions.

I don't know if I'll have internet access until Friday, so hope you all will have a good week. I'll still keep track of my exercise though and will take my measurements upon return. Hopefully they will be down from last week! Will be praying for you all too as you con't to crunch along.

Until Friday,
Susan

Hi Susan,
I´m an m.k. who lived in Uruguay for 11 years at the front of my life and have also many great memories of good times in Argentina. I have been to the IguazĂș falls...awesome and breathtaking is what I remember, so hope you have a camera:) About your diet? Just eat moderatly if the choices are not many and walk, walk, walk, which should be easy where you will be. Enjoy and hope you return feeling rested all over. Joy

when tempted to snack..ate almonds and raisins. (you can sub. any frutos secos without sugar)

sugar free chocolate to subsitute restaurant desserts

Coffee with art. sweetener.

move it when you can! ;)

cheese snacks and sf yogurts, too.

and of course fruits.

Stay concious of it all! and keep track of your points. jejeje
