Saturday - crunch in

The high today is supposed to be 2º C, so I only opened the windows a crack this a.m. as I did my 30 min. with Jillian. Yes! She sure makes me sweat :) I´ll be glad when the Christmas sweets and special foods are past, because they are such a comfort food!

I´m excited to have our daughter Sandy, (26 years old.) home for Christmas. It has been 8 years since that happened last, and although she isn´t a little girl, she is making our Christmas sing with her enthusiasm. Tonight she will present the Children´s Christmas program at her church - she´s planned it all and will be directing (kid´s choir, flute choir, and poetry) so she could use your prayers tonight. Have a great day in God´s house tomorrow.
Love,
Joy

aww I can imagine it´s so special to all be together. The last Christmas I was with my family I think was when our Oldest was one. It was after the fact in Jan . but it was still nice. Next year we are planning a furlough for Christmas time. ;) Don´t know how the details will work out.

Oh I made sugar cookies with frosting for our kids party and they are sooo addicting. I haven´t had so much trouble staying away from junk as I have today staying away from that frosting! I will have to get my exercise in tonight some how.

I will pray for you all and for Sandy and the program. Ours is tomorrow night in Oviedo. Isaiah our oldest has a main part. He says he is nervous but last night at the nursing home he did an incredible job. I had tears in my eyes. it was so touching!! PTL

Big Crunching hugs

Praying that your program will be a great one and that God will give you fruit for your labor. It just seems like people´s hearts are a little more tender to hear the Gospel.
I don´t have trouble with the frosting...just with the sugar cookies themselves. Thankfully there are only a few more left and I´m not making any more. I´m still doing the apple cider vinegar, which I think helps curve the sugar craving, so that is something I¨m going to keep in mind for the future.
