Plyometrics

Here are just a few moves of what I do with the P90X plyometrics. It's a great leg and cardio workout!

Lately my knees and hips have been killing me from all the running that I've been doing outside. If you turn up the volume you can actually hear just how much my knees and hips pop. This is why it's so important to try and land gently when jumping. My joints have never hurt me after plyo... Just running!

Sarah, thanks for sharing your video. I've never heard of plyometrics. It seems interesting. I'm going to look into it a little more. Who knows, I just might add some to my routine. Thanks, Kathryn :-)

INCREDIBLE!

I am like watching you do those jumping squats that I do on the shred thinking, "mine don´t look like that!" jeje YOu are sooo smooth.. oh except for the cracking! haha.. girl, I heard your knees! Whatcha gonna do bout that? The running on the pavement can´t be helping those.

I played soccer all through highschool and College and felt it in my knees. Then I thought I was going to have some prob. here when I started the Shred again but It went away.

So glad your treadmill is softer on your knees and hips. =)

Thanks for this video! you are doing so great! Can you believe how far you have come??? You look like a pro! =)

I can´t wait to start the Plymetric dvd. Jillian´s jump training is a good start though.

Thanks Sarah, for the video. Amazing jumping jacks too! So sorry about your knees and the cracking noise, since I´m sure the pain is no fun. Hopefully you can find something to do that won´t be causing pain nor future damadge. I have a brother-in-law who ran marathons for years, and now he has severe problems in his knees. I´m thinking I might do add some running in my exercise this week (minutes here and there), but definetly with a lot of tlc!
