Accountability Wins Again!

Yesterday was Day 1 of the CCCII and if it hadn't been for my head knowing that you ladies were praying, waiting for a post, and doing this with me, I would have gone to bed without exercising, and would have probably eaten a whole bag of goldfish. So, thank you ladies! I got home from church services later than normal. I had a paper to read for a staff meeting this morning, I was tired and wanted to just go to bed. But knowing that you were all out there, and that I needed to just do it, I did 30 minutes which for me is pretty good. Yes, the accountability works. Tonight I got home from an away volleyball game (I keep score for our team) and first thing I did was 40 minutes of exercise. Wow . . . two days in a row. I hope this post will be an encouragement for all of you who are doing this for the first time. As I said in my introduction post, I am new to blogging and to this FFF! I certainly needed it. Throughout the past two days you have been in the back of my mind as I've gone throughout the day, as I've decided what to put in my mouth to eat, and I love the challenge. The other day before we started the challenge, I was reading in Isaiah and came across this verse: Isaiah 10:16 "Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness". I decided to use it as my challenge verse for the next several weeks. It is the Lord who does it, and will do it! (not sure about the context of the verse, but the sentence fit what I needed in my life.) I just wanted to share that with you. So happy crunching to all!
