Even though it has been a busy week with 3 volleyball games after a full day of work, (I keep score for our high school team), I was still able to get some exercise in each day except yesterday. When I did my weight and measurements on Wednesday morning, I was pleased to see the scale 2 lbs. less than last week, and some of the measurements also less. That is not unusual for me to lose quickly at first. Cutting out the snacks, drinking more water, and exercising every day got me off to a good start. Thank you again, ladies, for your prayers, and encouragement. This week's verse for me is, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" Phil. 1 6. Last night I almost gave up, but decided to use it as a day off. I didn't do any exercise, and ate a bag of goldfish. But I woke up this morning ready to go at it again. I guess the "day off" is a good idea. Today I made some food to help watch the calories for this week: Garden Vegetable Soup and WW 2 point Chili. I also bought a sweet potato on Charlie's recommendation. As the weather turns colder, we tend to want to eat more foods that are heavier and less healthy. A good cup of Garden Vegetable soup is satisfying and healthy and warms you up. I will post the recipe in another post. Keep up the good work, ladies. I really enjoy reading the posts and hearing about your struggles and triumphs.
