Just a Field Trip? Family Exercise Too!

This Sunday had us traveling North to Paso Robles. The Spanish church we visited put us in a very nice La Quinta Hotel. We got some swim time in and then today we came back down to Hollywood for a family field trip day.

Here are two of my sons and I at the Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd. From here we walked a total of 2 miles just looking around. Though, some parts of Hollywood are really not that glamerous at all.

Joseph and I outside of Ripley´s Believe it or Not. We did not go in though.

Michael at the Chinese Theater.

Hollywood isn´t all it´s cracked up to be, so we got back into the car to go to Santa Monica. This is the cutest boardwalk/pier ever! We played on the beach and then let the boys go on the faris wheel.

Our feet in the Pacific Ocean!

The coast is always so beautiful!

And to end with a pretty sunset.

Now, my hubby is waiting for me to exercise, because he feels heavy after eating funnel cake. I did have a little. This weekend was full of bad choices for me. I look forward to cleaning my system out this week. I regret to say I did not get too many extra points for my eating. I cut back on many things so I could have theses special treats though. Praying to be a better example, though.

You all keep me accountable and I think of you daily and pray.
Big Crunchin´hugs,

Dani Joy

Beautiful photos of you and the family! Wow, Dani you look great!

The endurance and speed will come. It was only 2 years ago that I was running only 5k distances...because that was my goal. My goals have changed now...I want to run a 10K sub 50 minutes and I want to run a half marathon race 1:45 some day...

You can do more than you think you can!

I'm sure it was hard to eat right, but you know....sometimes we just have to take a break and just have some fun. I'm glad you guys did.

NOW IT'S TIME TO GET BACK ON TRACK LOL!!!!!

I am doing high protien with my Mom. she hit a plateau and is doing high protien very low carb for 3 days. I hope to drop the couple of pounds I found over the aweful holiday Americans call Halloween! (which I have never considered a holiday at all but this year we got caught up into the innocent part)What´s innocent about all that candy? may I ask?

Well, I am chomping on a piece of gum to keep myself from snacking tonight. did Jillian Michael´s No More Trouble Zones and I am ready for my shower and bed. ;)
