Lighten up your mundane Monday

I don’t know about you but doing the same exercise routine everyday gets a little boring so how about adding in a little “wacky” sport? Or maybe not, these definitely come into the don’t try this at home category

Trust the Australians to come up with Watermelon Skiing

Next up a team sport for the marrieds, the yearly Wife Carrying Championships in Finland. Brings a whole new meaning to - to have and to hold!

There are many odd things to come out of Britain (I speak from personal experience HeeHee!) and this one is NOT for the faint hearted. Cheese Rolling – chasing a cheese down a very steep and muddy hill.

Keep Springing

Blessings

I wonder how many broken legs and arms came out of the cheese chase.

Those were so funny! Thanks for the laughs.

I was wondering something similar, Charlie. How do people come up with these things? Can you just imagine the conversation where the idea for the watermelon skiing was born. Wonder what idea they dismissed in favor of the watermelons? HA!

Oh my! I am laughing still! What is up with the cheese! I mean it seems to roll way faster and no one gets it? You sure do find the funniest clips.

I think I would try that haning upside down while my husband runs me all over the place. hahah!

Thanks for the laugh! now to get creative with my workouts.

How funny! I have actually seen that cheese one before. It was some sort of show on TV where the host was traveling around trying all these different "traditions" in different countries, and he actually tried the cheese rolling thing. I think he ended up having to have surgery on his knee later because of it! I am sure that there are lots of injuries involved with that!

Too funny! I loved the watermelon one, and I'll have to pass that on to our youth pastor for our school camp this fall. I'm sure he would love it. Not sure I would enjoy hanging upside down in a race or rolling down a hill chasing some cheese. Ugh! But this was funny and thanks for sharing!
