Weigh in Wednesday

Morning Ladies!

Well I didn’t weigh and measure the last couple of weeks so it’s lovely to discover I lost a total of 11cm. 4 of which is from my hips J and am now in double figures instead of triple figures on the Kg weight (2 x J) I’m hoping that next week I’ll really drop a few Kgs as the dreaded TOM is poised to arrive – I’m craving chocolate like Bridget Jones LOL

I’ve had my niece Julia staying with me the last couple of days, which has been lovely. She lived with us for 3 years and is like a daughter/little-sister to me. Ice-cream season has arrived here in Germany and on Monday Jules and I went a little walk and ended up at an ice-cream parlour. For me it was such a success, I sat sipping tea and happily watched Jules tuck into her ice-cream. Even though it was almost supper time and I was starting to get hungry I still resisted the temptation!

Keep Springing!

Blessings

So happy for you Kathy with the changes! Our weather is starting to get nicer too (though today has been overcast and gloomy all day). Glad you resisted the ice cream. We got Burger King for the boys the other day, and Stephen and I didn't give in - we came home and each had a big salad for dinner! Hope all those positive results are making you feel good physically too!

I commend your discipline at the ice cream store. I am not doing so well with the self discipline in the food area, as evidenced by the fact that even though I did almost 12 hours of exercising since last Wednesday my weight today was UP almost a full pound from last week´s weigh-in. I did start a new cardio workout on the wii this morning (it is a boxing one) and it looks like it is going to get me sweating and hopefully that will start to translate into some downward movement on the scale.

I always celebrate the victories over temptation. It's not as satisfying to have eaten no ice cream or no cake when there was none to be had. But when it was staring you right in the face and you were able to say "no", now THAT is victory of discipline! It is so exciting to see results, isn't it? I have been exercising consistently for a while (months!) but since starting this challenge and changing my eating habits I have lost 2 kilos. I am excited for you and getting your weight down into the double digits. That is victory!

Success!! Praise the Lord, Kathy! this is incredible! I think it might be even better than the first crunch! wooo hoo! and wow way to go turning down the ice cream. I think I would have gotten the sugar free at least. jeje but tea is sure better. I bring my sugar free choc with me for such occations too. ;) (oh I am sure you knew that already)

I had a dream you and Matt came early and surprised us. man, It was so real. or did I tell you already. haha.

Big hugs

Wow, I can't believe you didn't eat the ice cream! When we are in Germany, we LOOK for ice cream shops so we can eat it. But good for you! Sounds like you are having good success, and it starts with good choices, which you made. Keep up the good work. -- Cindy
