MY FIRST POST AND IT IS THE END OF WEEK ONE.  IT HAS TAKEN ME ALL WEEK TO GET IT TOGETHER BUT I LOOK FORWARD TO GIVING MY BEST IN THE NEXT SEVERAL WEEKS. 

TESTIMONY

Hello, my name is Anita Beiles.  I am a missionary serving with my husband in Arenas de San Pedro, Spain.  I have been a part of more than one of Dani’s Challenges but have yet to keep on to the end.  This will be one of my goals this time around.  Of course I want to and need to loose weight.  I have had two serious health issues that have affected my weight.  When I turned fifty I was on the hospital with multiple sclerosis and when I turned fifty-five I was in the hospital with bladder cancer.  I will admit I was prepared for something major when I hit sixty, but my main health issue for now is dealing with my weight. God has blessed me with a very exceptional husband.  He has been my champion through my health issues.  He will be behind me during this Spring challenge.  I will be praying for each of us to do ‘all to the glory of God.’

last hello

Hello ladies...I was doing great on the first half of the challenge.  I tried to increase my exercise out-put too fast and had a set-back.  I have been doing much better in general and hope to keep up with water and exercise and improve on my food choices.  Looking forward to the Spring challenge.  See you then.  I do prefer the blog as it is very difficult to read all the entries and comments on fb.

Not feeling well and made up a new dish. Thought I was putting rice in the veggies and when I went to stir it, it was fideos. My DH loved it so is now an addition to the monthly menu!

DAY 8 WednesdayI’ve been working for several hours trying to figure out why the internet has not been responding. I woke up with a three pound weight loss. Plan to eat lots of fish this week.

Day 6 Anita

My first day to get all the points and making better choices on the foods. Now if I can repeat process. I did get my water in by seven so should be able to sleep some tonight!

Hard day getting water in since it was a Sunday. I was drinking and exercising until midnight then fell asleep with my computer on my lap…Of course I was up every hour all night to use the bathroom. MUST get all my water done before 6 pm. Praying my food choices will be better today. Praying for you all.

DAY 4I am improving and excited to have gotten in 2 hours of exercising. Glad there were a couple of good movies on TV so I was distracted from getting bored. Hope to start on better meals next week.

DAY 3 Anita

I’m doing better today on my water and exercising. Sugar is hard to delete from my coffee. I get an immediate headache using any artificial sweeteners. Prefer the 16 calories rather than a headache. Thanks for praying.

DAY 1-Anita I really should...

Okay, here is post number 1. I didn't get through half my water, no exercise, had sugar, and only got through half my fruits and veggies. Should I really be doing this? Yes I really should. I really need to do it. I can only pray to do better tomorrow.

Alarming Thots...

With my husband in the states, I thought it would be easier on my diet plans. He is a high metabolism-every 2 hour eater. I am finding that I get involved in projects and forget to eat. I have been doing okay, BUT NEED TO PLAN MORE AND MAYBE SET AN ALARM! Thankfully the points for water have kept me consistent in that arena...someone suggested having full water glasses in several places and that is helping me.

Glad for the Company

Hello from Anita Beiles in Arenas de San Pedro! Glad to be back. You may have noticed I dropped out of the last weeks of the Spring challenge. I had coffee/tea with Alice Dysert the day before the Spring challenge ended. I mentioned since my husband was going to be in the states for four weeks, I was going to pretend I was still doing the challenge for the summer, even if it was all by myself. When I got home, there was the news from Dani Joy. I don’t have the courage to put all my measurement up. I admire those that do! I will be keeping track of them and posting any changes.

Looking forward to getting and keeping fit with everyone. Glad for the Company
