I had a great day today!  Food-wise it was great. I have been struggling at getting through the morning without eating all the amount of food I should have in the whole day!  Today, I managed to control that hunger.   Good thing.  :-)  A friend and I went on a "rigorous" hike this afternoon.  It was only about 1.5 miles (one way), but it was nearly straight up.  Gorgeous Falls at the top!  We did it in about 30 minutes up.  Beautiful weather, God's beautiful creation, and wonderful Christian conversation the whole way.  Just a year ago there is NO way I would have been able to make it up. 
It is worth it girls...keep up the exercise.  There is so much of God's world out there to be enjoyed--which can only be done if we are healthy and able to get to those places!

Good for you! I love hiking too. This is another reason to stay fit. Realizing all the beauty that God intended us to see, but have to be strong to get there.

Wooo Hooo!!! Hiking is the best! well, next to swimming in the ocean. I love to swim but there are very few times I get to now.

What were the name of the falls? YOu must have felt great at the top! Have you ever been to Yosemite? Vernal falls are so fun to hike.

Great job getting out there and springing into shape. I totally agree that we need to keep our bodies healthy and strong for the Lord´s service. Some have sicknesses and diseases that are for God´s glory as well, but we that are healthy, are we taking care of our temples? This has been a conviction for me lately.
