Tip/encouragement

My mother and I are only 17 years apart. That is uncommon and not
recommended, but the Lord used it for good in my life. One of the
things I cherish from my childhood is going jogging with my mother or
getting up really early to go with her to the gym before going to
school. I played soccer, but my mother didn't really like that sport
for her little girl (; so she tried for me to go with her to
exercise. I enjoyed doing both. I say this to encourage us moms to
exercise with our kids so that they see the importance we give to
physical fitness. Just as they should see us reading our Bibles and
living our Christianity, it is good that they see that we choose to
take care of the body God has given us. Let's stay fit for God's glory!

This is so special, Maribel! thank you for this encouragement! It touched my heart. I pray my boys remember our times of exercise together too! I remember my times of exercise with my mom as really special times.

Great Inspiration!

What a good thought, Maribel!
I never exercised with my Mom and I don´t remember ever exercising (other than just playing, running or playing games in the park) with my girls. But maybe I´ll be able to do it with my grandaughter someday. :)

That's really good. My mom would never exercise with me. As a teenager, I would go to the track every day after school. I hope that my children learn the importance of exercise, and that I take the time to do it with them. Thanks for the inspiration.
