I'm Tami Jackson, and this is my 3rd challenge to participate in. During the Christmas Crunch, I really worked hard, and lost over 10 lb. During the Spring Challenge, it was more difficult for me. We had company from mid February to just a week ago. It was really hard to keep a consistent exercise time, and for the past month I haven't really exercised much at all. I just don't feel comfortable exercising when there are people there in my house.

So, now I am needing to get into the habit of exercising daily again. My daughter, Ashley (12), joined me for the last challenge, and she is going to join me again this time as well. Here is a pic of us recently. We got matching exercise outfits. Don't we look cute?

I have really enjoyed the fellowship from doing the past challenges. Getting in shape again was wonderful too!

Here are a few things about me. My family and I are missionaries in Irkutsk, Siberia, Russia. We have been here for 10 years in June. I'm 36, and want to lower my risk of heart disease, lose a few pounds, and get toned. My husband, Steve, and I have been married almost 17 years. We have 3 kids, who are home schooled.

I hope to lose about 5 lb. (Yes, I did lose it all at the end of the last challenge, but I've gained some back from eating some sweets and not exercising.) I also need to work more on toning my body. I don't have any measurement goals, as I am right about the same size that I was during college, but want to look more toned. I would love to trim some inches off my hips, but what I have now seems to be permanently attached.

Here is a picture of my family from last week. We climbed to the top of a very large steep hill at Lake Baikal. It was a very strenuous climb, but we all made it!

I still need to measure and post my measurements. I will get that done and post later on today.

Summer time is very busy for me. We have a very large garden where we grow almost all the vegetables that we eat year round. I look forward to working in the garden, and hope I will still have time to work out too!
