Are you sleeping enough?

One area that I know I need to work on is my crazy sleep schedule. I am a "night owl" and can stay up very late getting things accomplished (paperwork, reading, etc) but also tend to waste a ton of that late night time chatting on Facebook or surfing the web, blogging, etc. I recently came across some reading about how inadequate sleep can negatively affect weight loss goals. you can read a couple of articles on this here and here.

I am going to try getting to bed by midnight to my plan of attack for this challenge and see if it helps me reach my goals both physically and as a Mom/wife.

Awesome! I am with ya on that one! Let´s see. Maybe I will try to aim for 1am. lol But I must get my act together on this one too.

Hi Alice,

I think that this is the area that most moms fail. I try to make a conscious effort to get more sleep, but I'm not always successful. Like most moms, I like my quiet time, therefore I stay up longer than I should without realizing how late it really is getting.

You are right getting 8 hrs of sleep is so important and I know that when I do, I'm more productive the next day.
