Looking forward to Springing in 2 Shape

Hi everyone, I'm Charlie. This will be my third challenge on this blog. I am really excited to be here.

( Click HERE to read her testimony from the CCCII with pictures. )

A couple of years ago, I was 176 lbs. and decided to do something about it. At first it was to be an encouragement to a couple of people that are very close to me. I lost 30 lbs. and felt so much better. I initially did it using the Hallelujah diet, then as I progressed I decided to add some cardio. I started walking at first a couple of miles and steadily increased my mileage. Being fit felt great!

Although I experienced alot of ups and downs in my life in the last couple of years, my rock, the Lord Jesus has remained steady. Not only was I working on my physical fitness, but the Lord was building me spiritually. Both have required alot of painful experiences, but the rewards are great. I praise the Lord everyday for the strength he has given me in both areas of my life.

As I continued in my physical fitness journey, I decided to add some strength training. This has caused me to gain a few pounds initially, (muscle weighs more than fat) but I've lost in inches. I feel much stronger than I ever had.

My new goal is to lose about 10 more lbs., but to gain more lean muscle. I am really excited to be sharing this experience with all of you. I am also looking forward to being encouraged as well as being an encourager.

My current measurements are:

WEIGHT: 145.5 LBS
BUST: 39.5 "
CHEST: 32"
WAIST: 33"
HIPS: 40"
RIGHT ARM: 12"
LEFT ARM: 11.5"
RIGHT THIGH: 23.5"
LEFT THIGH: 23"

Wooo hoo! you have come a long way! You are getting so strong! I know that it must be a release emotionally too. Spiritually we are growing with each other too. I am so thankful for your motivation.

Can I go ahead and link this post to your previous testimony link from the last challenge? It had a picture of you.

How tall are you again? I think you are a little taller than me, but can´t remember. jeje

Springing with ya,
Dani Joy

Hey Charlie!

Glad you're back again. You're already 30lbs lighter and I think I'm starting from the beginning again. But no matter where we are along the road, it's a journey we can all take together.

Keep springing :o)

Thanks, everyone. Yes, Dani, you may link my previous testimonies. I didn't get a chance to post a pic. You know me, I don't like pics of myself. LOL.

I am 5'2 3/4 inches. But I say 5'3", why not round up. LOL! It's easier that way. No, I'm not taller, just older. :)
