Downloadable Christian Music

In nursing school we learned how the whole entire person needs to be addressed in our nursing care. This includes the physical, spiritual, social, and economic parts that make up each person.

I know many of us are away from our home countries, and Satan does what He can to try to hinder our service and walk with the Lord. One way that I have found that I can stay encouraged in the Lord is with good conservative Christian music. My thoughts tend to stray to be focused on things other than Christ and His Word. As you exercise, by walking or on an exercise bike or elliptical it is so nice to have good music to listen to.

I love to be able to listen to refreshing music throughout the day. It helps me keep my focus on Christ. God's Word reminds us in II Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Since we are out of the States, in the past we have had to wait until someone would mail us a new CD, and mail takes so long here, it can get quite discouraging.

A couple of years ago, we found a wonderful website where you can buy and download Christian music for playing on your computer, MP3 player, CD, or whatever media you like to use. They also have some Christian audio books on their site, and sheet music. Most of their albums are in English. Of course, they have a number of instrumental albums. They also have a few albums available in Spanish.

The website is sacredaudio.com Each month they have a free downloadable track from an album. Another feature that I really enjoy is that you can listen to a segment of every track before you decide to purchase. They have many entire albums available for download at $9.99, which is lower than you would pay for a CD. Individual tracks can also be downloaded for $0.99 per track.

We have used this site a number of times, and have been very pleased with their service. We did have to contact customer service once, and they answered back quickly, and were very helpful.
