Recipe week 1

Before this week is over, I'll share some healthy cookie recipe. Now, my kids weren't so sure about them, but ate them. I have been trying to bake wholewheat and stay away from sugar and fat. I found this recipe that allowed me to eat one or two and "feel good."


2 cups mashed bananas
1/2 cup apple sauce (could be homemade)
4 cups oats
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2/3 cup chocolate chips (could be dark!)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
dash of salt

Mix and scoop onto trays. Flatten so they are not too chewy (to desired thickness)
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
