Protecting Yourself from the HINI

This article was posted in our weekly paper this week... I thought it was encouraging since we are trying to do many of these things. There was a bit more to the article, but I pulled out the important points.

What you can do Right Now to Protect Yourself from Flu:


1. Eliminate all sugar in every form from the diet. Sugar paralyzes the white blood cells for at least 6 hours at a time.

2. Drink lots of plain, clean water. This helps to flush out toxins and keeps mucous membranes moist so they can flush.

3. Get enough rest.

4. Get daily physical activity to keep the lymphatic system flushing. Outdoor exercise in fresh air and sunlight is the best, even if it is only 15-30minutes. Your body will thank you for it.

5. Build and support the immune system with vitamins.
Vitamin D and C can be taken daily.

6. Eliminate stress.
I added this!--That can mean meditating on God's Word and spending time in prayer.

I don't know if people are panicking where you are, but this seems to be the hype here lately. I guess the death toll has risen in our province, and the government is limiting vaccines to only those at hight risk. I found these tips to be helpful:)
