Well, my scale broke...but the last time I weighed, I hadn't lost in pounds...but I am down 1.5 ish in inches.
I have been not doing what I planned...in exercising, but still eating well. I do exercise from time to time, but just not so consistently...sorry ladies! I do have a more recent photo...not that it shows all of me, but it shows all my family! My sister in law took it for us. My hubby has been an encouragement in this journey of living/eating well. I can be honest with him about my feelings of "failing" and wanting to "do more" and he just encourages. God has truly blessed me with a wonderful man. I am a words of encouragement girl(from Love Language study) and that helps a lot! I found a used exercise bike, which I am hoping to get this weekend. Hopefully, this will help motivate the exercising!

My Kids and Jillian!!!
I did my first Jillian in months...and my kids joined me. All four of them at different times. One of mine(the one in my first post yesterday) did the whole thing with me! I just had to have a picture!!! Yes, I did stop my exercising just to take it!

CCC 3 Intro!!
Howdy from Texas! I am happy to join you all again . I've gained a few pounds since our last challenge...no exercise and a week back on sugar did it so quickly! I am a homeschool mom of 4 kiddos. We just moved into a rent house for the next year and I am unpacking and doing house stuff when I'm not teaching.
Most important thing about me and weight is...SUGAR is my nemesis...so, I am avoiding that unless there is a special occasion. This is helping!! I am doing that through the end of December and probably will have to continue after. When ever I go back on desserts/sweet snacks, I always gain(hence the three+ pounds after the last crunch. I seem to have no discipline except when I am off completely!
This is me and my second oldest Melissa.

Weigh In from June 15
Well, not much to report...at least nothing in the losing way. I have been eating zero desserts for about 2 weeks now. My goal is that I will only allow a dessert after I'm down 4 pounds--150 lbs---My real goal is 145, but I haven't seen the other side of 150 since last summer. I started running today. I need more endurance, but I hope someday to enjoy the sport!

Swept aweigh in(pun intended)...after 3rd week of SOF2
Measurements...down 1/4 of an inch, but weight was up 0.4lb. I know my weekend was not great for eating sweets...hence the lack of change in the right direction. I will keep pluggin along.
My mother in law is building a house to sell across the street from her , so I've been getting my workouts there by sweeping vigorously! Lots of dust! I like to work and see results(in other words---clean floor)...much more fun than a video. I think that maybe the results on my body are different, but I like it much better!

Weigh for the Second Week
I am finally down from beginning weight-- which is amazing to me! I'm down 1/2 of a pound! Which means that I am down from Feb. almost 6 pounds. That's a nice change. I did drop 2 inches, so that was super too to see.

Confessions of a sugar slip
" Five mornings a week, my husband goes to the health club, gets on the stair-stepper, sets the timer, and buries his nose in a book. Recently, he noticed an amazingly fit middle-aged woman who seemed to run circles around everyone, took few breaks, and rarely even broke a sweat.
"It's not fair," he complained. "By the time I'm dragging myself off to the showers, she's hopping back onto the stepper for another session."
One day he came home with a sheepish grin. "Well," he said, "they're identical twins." "

So, why is it, on the day that I exercised more than normal, I ate worse!! I slipped today with my sugar! So, no more slips today!!!

Oh my !!! Ladies...you gals are working!!
Two things that I have noticed---I haven't been exercising, but you gals have...those tickers are a tickin!! You are challenging me...to go exercise for an hour today...I hope I can do it! My weekend will be crazy because of traveling, but I WILL be watching my sweet intake--since that is my nemesis!

My weight is down over 2 pounds from last week, so I'm not sure how much that will hold... also, I am down over an inch+ from last week too...again, we shall see. I've already got most of my water in for today! By the way, I love the new points database.
My overall goal is to eat healthier---aka---more natural and little sugar!
and I would like to drop 7-8 more pounds.

Last weigh in
I thought the easiest way to show my changes...was to put in the excel program Dani sent out...
My overall weight loss was 2.8 pounds...I've been lower at times...my lowest being 154.0 so far, but it seems on my weigh in day...it's never that low! So, I will keep working!
My inches lost has been 7.25!! I'm pretty excited about that. I can see a difference and I feel better eating this healthier way.

Week 8 real weigh in
I was down about .2 inches...hehe...sometimes I am up in some areas and down in others...wish there existed a radar measurement system that was accurate! I am still weighing the same, but I have a hypothesis...when I let myself cheat on the weekends...I am obviously cheating too much...by Wednesday it's off....by Friday it's lower but by Monday, I'm up. I am not cheating this weekend and we shall see!!

Week 8 report--Late!
I didn't have much change last Wednesday and forgot to post....oops! I finally, much to the surprise of my kiddos, moved up to level 2 in Jillian....I guess I was thinking that level 1 would become easier before I should move up. My kids keep asking, especially my 5 year old boy--hehe, "Is this STILL level one???" So, on Monday I kicked it up to 2! I think I am up to about 80% of what she is actually wanting me to do, but I am sweating and working hard!! I have to do my workout without volume b/c of my kids doing their schooling on the computer and our "close" quarters, but at least I don't hear the same works OVER and OVER and Over...hehe!

Weigh in Week 6
Lost at least 1/2 pound, thought it would be more, but it seemed that I didn't...oh well, maybe tomorrow it will be more! Lost 1/2 an inch too. Nix the Fix was tough! I had a ladies retreat---which I made it through...didn't have the sweets!! Oh my that was hard! I did splurge on a date night and twice for coffee creamer...lost some points overall, but it was sure a challenge! I 've been exercising but not like I want to. It seems I am running out of time by the end of the day to do my Jillian while MIL is sleeping, so I have walked a lot instead---and fast!
I did track my water for the first time today in a long time! Got more than my 2 liters in--so excited about the grand slam options. This is fun! Thanks ladies for the opportunity of accountability!

More Stamina?!!!!
I didn't have a chance to workout yesterday before soccer practice for my Katie, so I wore my walking shoes hoping my friend would want to walk during the time. She did! We walked for 80 minutes---first of all, let me just say that I am always the slow one when it comes to walking...with everyone I walk with...but yesterday we just continued a nice pace and I felt completely worked out at the end and I wasn't the slow one! I kept pace! I walked with my hubby tonight for over 30 minutes and he noticed my pace had increased! I am so excited about that!!

Woohoo...and Weigh In
I must first announce I finally finished a Jillian 30 day shred, without skipping ANYTHING! I died 3x's during the session-haha-how does that happen since it's only 20 minutes...but I feel so excited about doing that on Monday!!! AND I wasn't even sore yesterday...when I had to do my own version of Jillian b/c of tv issues! I have NEVER not been sore from it...so, Maybe just maybe, I am getting stronger!

Week 3 Weigh in---
I was down another inch and a bit lower than my original weight, just not a full pound down. I went away for a night with my 11 year old daughter to talk about adolescence stuff...and things that her body will be going through in the next few years---which went well, by the way, but I was concerned that I would blow my weight...I'm happy to announce I did not and I was a tad lower when I got home than when I left. We didn't eat anything homemade, you know---ate out every meal...it was a special treat for both of us. I watched my portions and even eat healthy for the most part. Such a relief to be home and really back to springin' it!!

So, I weighed...I'm down 1.2 lbs from last week, but only .4 from initial weighing--I just need to stay down...then I know I really lost it...I have been fluctuating within a couple pounds for months now. I dropped 1/2 inch this week...keepin' on keepin on!

Hola de Tejas!
Just dropping in...I missed a couple of workouts last week, b/c of allergy issues. I had read about not working out when you can't breathe well, then after I was better, I actually read that working out can clear up sinuses....oh well! I must say I missed my workouts though...this is good! I worked out today for 30 minutes...catching my breath as I type!

1 T of coconut oil in my shake in the morning--thanks to someone here on the blog!
Apple Cider Vinegar in water through out the day. (I've read a lot lately about this helping with allergies...so, I'm checking it out...it supposedly has so many other benefits too!)

Weigh In First Week
Ok, so I did my weigh-in and measurements...I am down about 1.25 inches...but up .8 of a pound.-by the way, Dani Joy---I love that excel spread sheet you emailed a bit ago! I know I am going to work on eating less at dinner. I'm exercising--doing the 30 day Shred...was so sore yesterday, my hubby thinks I need to alternate muscle groups. I haven't actually sat down to listen to the dvd at the beginning. It's very hard for me to do this workout stuff when I am living with my in laws...I'm very hesitant about working out in front of anyone but my immediate family. So, I've been doing my w.o. during her(mother in law) nap!! That helps! Today, I walked, played basketball and ran for all short times in my first 20 min., but I hope to do the shred or some type of video during her afternoon siesta.
